Terms of service.
Selfie Studio GR reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time, and for any reason.
We require a deposit of $100 before we can guarantee your event date. Payment in full must be received at least 1 month BEFORE day of the event. You will be sent an invoice via your preferred method of communication at the time of booking consultation. Use of Afterpay does not require a deposit, however you will not be refunded the full amount in the case of cancellation. Additionally, a contract will be provided and must be signed before service will be rendered, regardless of payment status.
Travel outside of West Michigan (i.e.: Muskegon, Holland, Grand Rapids, Lansing, Kalamazoo, and Battle Creek) will incur an additional fee to cover transportation for both staff and equipment. Fee is based on mileage to and from venue address.
We also require at least a 10’x10’ space to set up the booth and additional space to set up a queue and table for our staff. We will require day-of access to set up our equipment and ensure adequate space, at least 1 hour in advance of beginning service (see FAQ for more details).
Outdoor events require a nearby area where equipment and staff may safely shelter in the event of inclement weather. Selfie Studio GR reserves the right to cancel with or without a partial refund due to bad weather, or a high chance of bad weather, on the day of an outdoor event. This may include rain, snow, high winds, and extreme temperatures. In the case of wind, please note that due to our fabric background the quality of our pictures/videos may drop drastically with wind speeds as low as 3-5mph. As such, even if it does not seem windy to you, we reserve the right to cancel at our own discretion.
Any damage to property of Selfie Studio GR, our staff’s personal property, harassment of staff both verbal or physical, or any rude or demeaning behavior will NOT be tolerated, and WILL incur an additional fee. Our top priority is creating fun, lasting memories for your event, however the safety of our staff and the integrity of our equipment comes first. Damages done to person or property of Selfie Studio GR or it’s staff will be the responsibility of the renter to make whole.
